How You Can Help
It is the goal of Adult Asperger's Association to make the world a better place for adults with Asperger's syndrome. We hope for a world community that welcomes, supports, and appreciates the talents and intelligence of the adult with Asperger's syndrome. Doing so will not only benefit the person with Asperger's but will give a tremendous gift to the community. To accomplish our mission, we need your talent, intelligence, and experience. Below is a list of the ways in which you can help further the cause of making this a better world, one Aspie at a time.
OUR WISH LIST
- To change the current AZ State laws to include Asperger's as a disability so that adults who have trouble maintaining jobs can receive Vocational Rehabilitation services. - Group facilitators (mental health professionals only, please)
- Meeting room space for as many as 4 groups
- Rooming house with space for a cottage industry
- Film producer/documentary film maker

- Lending library on books about autism spectrum disorders
- Exposure on public television, radio talk shows, local trade journals, and local newspapers
- Promoters/movers and shakers
- Cohousing Community for Aspergians with on-site: employment opportunities, social skills trainer, social events, support counselors, and life skills coaches.
