Adult Asperger's Family Members Support Group
Marilyn Riesch, M.S., a former rehabilitation counselor, facilitates this support group for family members (spouses, significant others, parents, adult siblings) of adults with Asperger's syndrome. The group is designed to help family members to manage the special issues that the syndrome presents to family members. The focus is on strategies and interventions for improved family and relationship life. Members give each other suggestions and support while encouraging one another in the process of learning and change.
The group is open to anyone with a family member who has Asperger's syndrome. You may show up for the group without prior notice. There is no registration process. The groups are continuous throughout the year without a break for holidays unless the holiday falls on the exact day of a group. Please feel free to join us.
