Adult Asperger's Association

Adult Asperger's Support Group

Psychologist, Barbara J Nichols, Ph.D., leads this support group for adults with Asperger's syndrome . The group focuses on the special concerns and issues that face adults with Asperger's syndrome. Members discuss relationships and social situations, and offer feedback to each other about strategies for handling them. Symptoms, traits, and characteristics are discussed, as well as the talents and strengths of people with Asperger's. The emphasis of the group is to give members a sense of self-worth and belonging in a social learning environment.

This group is open to anyone over the age of 18 who has Asperger's syndrome. If you think you have the syndrome, either because you were officially diagnosed with it, or you or a loved one believes that you may have some of the traits of the syndrome, you are welcome.

You may show up for the group without prior notice. There is no registration process or permission needed. The groups are continuous throughout the year without a break for holidays unless the holiday falls on the exact day of a group.  Please feel free to join us.
